Our Story

The Village Doula Services was born out of necessity and passion.

 
After Stace experienced a traumatic first birth, followed by the most wonderful healing birth of her second child, Stace had a fire that just wasn’t going away.

She had learnt so much about birth, about herself and how incredibly transformative birth could be and how it has a lasting impact on every aspect of our lives. 

After learning about Doula’s and the impact they can have, she dove head first into the calling and hasn’t looked back! 

The Village Doula Services is about walking alongside families, educating them on their options and empowering them to choose the options that are best for them through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Its about supporting families every step of the way by creating a village of support that helps the transition to parenthood whether it be for the first time or the fifth time. 

The Village Doula Services offers a variety of services including Birth Support, Birth education, Birth Education for Dads, Postpartum Support, Birth & Newborn Photography along with a range of offers that continues to grow.  In 2026 we are expanding our team to support more families in our community.
